A PROVA DI BOMBA

A prova di bomba is a work composed of four illustrations meant to be viewed in the order presented. The piece reflects on the gradual transformation of emotions following a trauma, and how this process impacts mental health.

The four frames surround abstract geometric forms that represent emotions in constant evolution. The flowers adorning the borders, initially lush, begin to wither as red (symbolizing anger) gradually overtakes yellow (symbolizing happiness), eventually turning into dry branches as red fully takes over.

In the final illustration, the frame is covered in thorns that wrap around more complex and multifaceted emotions—ones that now must be protected. Red remains present, but now serves as a backdrop to colors that no longer clash sharply, instead blending together into subtle chromatic gradients.
