LA NOTTE

La notte is an audiovisual work that reflects on the inability to confront one’s own obstacles, here represented by a sleepless night brought on by the fear of facing the day ahead.
The sounds of a city that never sleeps serve as the backdrop to a growing restlessness—born from a tired gaze and the streetlights casting their glow on the body and bedsheets. This atmosphere reveals a deep paralysis: a fear of the coming day intertwined with the desire to no longer remain trapped in the limbo created by those very fears.
The alternating red and blue lights become a visual metaphor for this inner conflict, symbolizing the emotional struggle between anger (red) and sadness (blue) provoked by the sensation of stillness and stagnation.
